NASA last year released a video (Credit: NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center) showing how carbon dioxide in the atmosphere travels around the globe from an ultra-high-resolution computer model. It provides a stunning new look at plumes of carbon dioxide swirling and shifting as winds disperse the greenhouse gas away from its sources.

Watch the video with the globe rotated to show the north pole. Astonishing new perspective compared to the plain video, isn’t it?
